Dog Training Made Easy Start Early and Often!

Dogs barking, biting and chewing everything on the face of the planet, I think everyone who has owned a dog has gone through what I have. Most people in their life at one time or another owns a dog. Man s best friend as it s become to be known, but unfortunately that isn t always the case. No matter what breed you have, dog obedience is always something each owner must tackle.
While some dogs are more capable of being trained than others, all require that special bond to be built between them and their owner. Unfortunately dog training is something which a lot of owners neglect doing from a young age, and once the dog has established behavioral patterns, training it at a later age can be difficult.
I have owned a dog my whole life. Having a dog around that doesn t judge you, but just wants to be your friend 24/7 is something you can never get from humans. I have found with whatever breed I have had (German Sheppard, Maltese and Labrador), all have needed to be trained from a puppy in order to get the best results.
It is important to open up a line of communication between yourself and your dog, by doing this you are establishing a rapport with the dog as its owner and commander, and stating that he/she must follow your commands.
There are many areas in which can cause problems and I always concentrate on:
Dog aggression
Dogs which bite
Barking
Interaction with children
All of these were very important aspects to having a well-trained dog. It is important to establish quickly that you are the leader and the dog must follow you. Like any interaction, whether it is between humans, or between pets and humans, any species which see s signs of weakness, will try to exploit it. So make sure you are confident with what you want your dog to do.
If you have children, both training the pet and the child how to interact is important. Any dog which is poked, hit or had its tail pulled could react badly towards a child. So educating the children, who are around the dog, is almost as important as training the dog itself.
Don t get discouraged or overwhelmed simply training the dog to be obedient and to follow simple commands from a young age can solve many problems which can occur at a later time.
So be confident, assertive and remember to reward to the dog for good behavior. It is more likely to realize it is doing right if it is rewarded, and more likely to repeat this behavior. Most of all have fun with your dog.
